I used two separate photo references that were taken at different times. They have both passed but several years apart, so my goal was to make them look as natural as though they were actually together in this tribute.

I will always suggest burning the background of pets with lighter colored fur, I think it really makes them stand out and defines them. It may take a little more time but the end result is definitely worth it.
